What is a hand drawn/ free hand tattoo? (pictures below)

This is a tattoo design hand drawn on to the skin to help the tattoo flow more organically on the body. It’s not always needed but sometimes encourage.

This is my first tattoo, do I need to know anything beforehand?

I highly recommend that you eat before your appointment. I also like to bring a snack (just in case) and a water with me whenever I get tattooed myself. It is also recommended to avoid caffeine before getting tattooed…and obviously alcohol. Please don't try to shave before your appointment, I will do that for you. Do not be more than 15 minutes late, nor more than 20 minutes early.

Can my friends come with me to get tattoed?

You are allowed one guest during your tattoo. This is based off of health code guidelines. Yes, I will make any extra guests wait in the waiting room as it is my job to do so.

Do you take walk-ins?

I typically do not take walk-ins, as I am usually fully booked.

Do you have a cancellation waiting list?

I do not. This can get very unorganized and complicated quick. For cancellations with enough notice, I will post on my Instagram story. Whoever snags it first, snags it first.

I FULLY understand waiting 1-3 months for your tattoo can be frustrating. Trust me, as someone who gets tattooed I know what its like to wait. I also know that it is ALWAYS worth the wait. I squeeze everyone I possibly can in, while still allowing myself plenty of time with my family as well. I truly love what I do and get to as many people in as I can.

Is it possible that my appointment will have to be rescheduled?

Yes. As a mother, unexpected things come up that I have to take care of. As a human, unexpected things come up that make me feel as if I cannot give you the best tattoo possible. I am never thrilled to reschedule people, but it does happen. Sometimes I may ask to also push your appointment time up, or back the day of.

If I haven’t heard from you in awhile, can I DM you on Instagram?

Yes. I do not mind this at all. I will not book you through Instagram, but I will answer any questions you have. I do check that typically once a week due to tattooing schedule but I love to try and be there.

What can I expect out of my first email I receive from you?

I will try to answer any questions you may have. I will add in any input that feels necessary. There it will explain your deposit, and send you information on how to pay.

What can I expect after I pay my deposit?

Once the deposit is paid, I will book you the soonest available appointment date we have based on your availability. If for some reason this date doesn’t work, we then will send you a few more days to choose from.

Do I have to pay a deposit in order to book?

Yes. Under no circumstance will I book any appointment without a deposit. We are absolutely more than happy to answer any and all questions you may have before paying your deposit.

Do you use Saniderm?

I do try and have Saniderm available. As long as you have no allergies to adhesive I think that its a wonderful tool in helping to heal tattoos.

What do you recommend for healing tattoos?

To keep it short and sweet, your number one job within the first three days is keeping your tattoo clean. I recommend a non-scented antibacterial soap and a non-scented lotion to keep your tattoo moisturized. You can also use whatever typically works for you. Remember, you are NOT medicating your tattoo, you are moisturizing it. I advise my clients to stray from anything that is heavily oily and thick (such as Aquaphor). Always wash your hands before moisturizing or cleaning your tattoo.

Can I see my tattoo before my appointment?

I do not send drawings before your appointment. I used to do this, and it got pretty crazy. I have no problem making small adjustments at the time of your appointment. I assume that in choosing me to be your artist, you trust that I will create something you will love. If you have something very specific, make sure to explain this to me in great detail or schedule a consult beforehand.

Can I book more than one appointment for my larger scale tattoo?

Yes, absolutely. I even recommend it so that I can get you in sooner rather later to finish your piece. You will need at least two weeks for your tattoo to heal before coming in for another session.

Learn a little about your artist

HI!! I’m Ashlee, your color enthusiast who’s obsessed with soaking up sunshine and trolls! I’m a 90’s baby, which means my “life is like a box of chocolates… you never know what you’re goin’a get”
I live a high pace life with my husband keeping up with three daughters and their own talents and aspirations along with running a business, and trying to grow but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way, for me it’s part of the fun in life.
Art has always been a huge part of my personal life and I believe it can heal and bring such happiness or release to people. As much as I love painting or drawing or tattooing, I have a love in many other fields as I truly love and am interested in so much out there. I love getting to bring something inside someone else’s heart/head and make it have a life a meaning to it’s wearer, and I get to hear and learn new things in the process which is where my heart is in this.

One one question I get often is why Crashlee? Well I became a tattooer in 2018 and I occasionally would get called “Crash” between some friends because my gamer tag on PlayStation and Xbox has always been Crashlee, which was inspired by one of my Most favorite games Crash Bandicoot.
